Together against discrimination

On September 24, RIHR participated in the session ”Together against discrimination” of the online event ”Civic dialogue: migration, asylum and integration”, organized by the Romanian National Council for Refugees (CNRR). In the beginning of the event, the National Council for Combating Discrimination(CNCD) prezented the various forms discrimination can take – discrimination at work, stereotypes, the danger of getting used to be discriminated, as well as theratiobetween complaints and own initiatives from CNCD concerning discrimination and the difficulties faced at institutional level.

On this occasion, RIHR announced its national awareness campaign on the harassment at work phenomenon, campaign organized by the National Agency on Equal Opportunitiesfor Women and Men (ANES) and RIHR, which is currently ongoing under the slogan ”Moral harassment is illegal. Stop the dysfunctional work relations!”.

The second part of the event evolved around a session held in English, entitled „Fighting against racism at european level”, during whicha representative of the European Network Against Racism (ENAR) took the floor.
