National contest of didactic creativity
The National Contest on didactic creativeness in the field of auxiliary material devoted to education for human rights, democracy, a culture of peace and tolerance in the pre-university educational system aims to educate the younger generation in the spirit of respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms, dignity and tolerance and free exchange of opinions. The Contest requires the participating teachers to create auxiliary material to be used in the class for better understanding the themes included in the sphere of human rights.
The 2014-2016 edition of the National Contest of didactic creativeness was a competition of works belonging to teachers from the counties of Arad, Bacău, Caraş-Severin, Cluj, Constanţa, Dâmboviţa, Hunedoara, Ilfov, Mureş, the Municipality of Bucharest, and Iaşi.
The 2017-2018 edition of the National contest of didactic creativity, which is still under way, is organized by the Ministry of National Education, in collaboration with the Romanian Institute for Human Rights and the Teachers' Training Centre in Cluj.
